These “if’s” do not come from the mouth of God. Nor do they come from the mouth of Jesus.
They come from the mouth of that other guy. The devil.
Everytime I look at a passage from scripture I find myself in the land of Big T and little t.
…on the fourth, maybe the fifth throw, my stone will land, not with a thud, but with a splash. My stone will land in the place, on this wonderful blue-green planet of ours, where the Connecticut and the Deerfield rivers come together.
For our Ash Wednesday Service this year we welcome members of the First Church in Jaffrey, and the Rindge Congregational Church. The service will occur at 5PM on February 26th at the United Church of Jaffrey
